Failed blower. Need to orders part and return to replace under parts warranty.
System operating well while on site. Homeowner explained sound and symptoms, by the description it is assusmed that there could have been a drop in voltage that caused the compressor to run in reverse. No issues found at this time. I have recommended the soft inrush kit which also has a delay built in, which will protect the compressor.
Great maintenance visit today. Today we inspected the unit in heating mode. Quick check of the outdoor condenser. Both compressor and outdoor fan motor capacitors as well as contactor are testing well within range at this time. I did notice large amount of dirt accumulation on outdoor fan motor shaft. Previously customer has been advised of the necessity of a new outdoor fan motor. Customer also will be provided with recommendation for replacing that. Outdoor unit was washed down for the condenser coils. Next, we moved up into the attic to check the furnace. Initial inspection of that shows heavy water damage along the drain pans. Pictures will be attached to checkout form. While conducting a test on the furnace, we observe the high limit switch going bad. I’ve been tracing it. We were able to confirm that the high limit and switch was not getting power causing the unit to only run for short sporadic time frames. Customer was advised. Customer let us know that he rarely runs the furnac

Returned to replace outdoor fan motor to bigger unit. Unit cools kitchen side of home.
Performed inspection on 2 units, focused more on heating, only visual for cooling. Found insulation in blower cabinet sucked into wheel. Removed section and wheel is free and clear of obstruction. No other issues found at this time. Per request of homeowner I have attached soft inrush kit information and other safety/ accessories features.
Pilot on water heater was off. Heater is now operational.
Performed inspection x’2. I have recommended to replace both contactors to both units and to install soft inrush kit on both but primarily on the unit to upstairs as that one has exceeded max rating. I have also recommended to update the CO2 detectors. Both units operating at departure.

Performed heating inspection. Venting is in need of replacement. No other known issues at this time. Also recommend adding a safety float switch on the condensate line to help prevent any water damage due to a backed up drain line.
