Came out to call for a system not cooling properly. Customer stated that the system seemed to be operating, but there wasn’t any cool air being produced inside the home. I checked the system over after customer turned it on and found the condenser unit failing to come on properly. I shut the power off to the unit and did some checking and found the capacitor depleted. This was causing the condenser not to operate properly. I checked customers info for warranty information and didn’t pull up an extended warranty. Just has a date delivered of July 2018, which is past the standard 5 year mark. Discussed with customer about repair needed. Customer had me replace the capacitor. I replaced it and washed the condenser coil thoroughly. Cycled system on and checked operation. System is now cooling properly.
