Sam J - arrive to Blue club member fall tuneup on upflow furnace in hallway closet. Customer explained that the system is operating well and no cold spots in the home. I tested thermostat operation while changing air filter. Began servicing system by pulling in cleaning the flame sensor. Also, checked burners and burner assembly. Unable to inspect coil due to the way the unit was installed. Inspected heat exchanger, which is in good shape. Checked capacitor on blower motor, it is within range. Cycled system on from thermostat and checked amperage of inducer motor and blower motor. Ducts connected and insulated well. Check temperature difference at the Plenum switch was 48°. Spoke with customer and inform them of the status of their system. Set thermostat back to original setpoint. System operating properly and efficiently at this time.
