Silver club ac tune up on 2013 Carrier 5 ton split system. Spoke with customer and changed customer supplied filters. Washed condenser outside thoroughly and between coils. Checked fan, compressor, capacitor, contactor, hard start. Fan was reading weak amps and capacitor was reading weak on fan side. Inspected furnace, evaporator coil, drain and furnace capacitor. Evap coil is dirty, drain is clear and furnace capacitor is working well. Went over recommendations with customer and we will change the dual capacitor under warranty today. Compressor 11.4/26.4 amps Fan 1.1/1.2 running amps Fan after capacitor change .81/1.2 running amps. System running within manufacturer specs at this time. Added recommendations are cleaning the evaporator coil in place, adding surge protectors and adding a drain pan treatment.
