I arrived for a no cool call on a previous customer. I first spoke with the homeowner and found that the system has not keep cool from the duct cleaning we preformed in June. We discussed what the system is doing and that it runs all day without shutting off and the most recent utility bill was about $800. I explained that there is a diagnostic fee for me to inspect the system and find what the problem is. I found the heat to be running the same time as the ac. I found the thermostat batteries to be low and the display to be fading in and out. I replaced the batteries and found the same to come on in ac mode only. I cycled the system on and off three times and found the system to respond to the commands given. This system may take a full day to pull the temperature down due to the system being miss matched and the system being undersized for the house.
