Well, checking the outdoor units on the new Amana 2021 the run capacitor was a 35/5 µF run capacitor I was reading 25/5 µF run capacitor I let the customer know that if this part goes bad that she would not have cold AC she agreed and I changed it out. I also let her know that the outdoor coil on the big unit 2018 Goodman Have a chemical treatment as well as the indoor coil, she didn’t want to move forward with it at this time, but I did educate this customer on the importance of changing the filters I was explaining to her what thickness Merv rating she should get clear, drain lines, checked pressures amp draw, and after I change that run capacitor my readings were more to manufacturer specs. Both of these systems are cooling and draining properly at this time.
