As always, Cameron did an excellent job, was a pleasure to have around, and provided interesting information about our heating system, as well as how to keep it performing well. We have been very pleased to have the Comfort Club that checks our heating and air-conditioning system twice a year. It gives great peace of mind, and I do believe will help extend the life of our units. We definately recommend Comfort Central. Cameron performed the summer check on the unit and scheduled for the winter check in a few months. Cameron was very professional and congenial and throughly inspected the unit including dehumidifier and condensate pump. Report indicates system working well.

Cameron and Kevin Schumann separately first visited our home and brainstormed ideas to replace and improve our ailing HVAC units and to install a dehumidifier in our basement crawlspace. Their suggestions were considered and improved by Jay Eidelberg and carried out by his crew. Besides a capacity for physically challenging work, Jay has two remarkable qualities. The first, borne of years of experience, is his ability to picture the completed layout, however complex, in his mind. The second is his passion to complete the project as if it were a work of art. Showed up 30 minutes early in this heat. Brought the exact part that was defective. Cameron and associate were very informative and friendly. In a very short time we were basking in cool comfort. Highly recommend!

Found system blower capacitor had failed - replaced blower capacitor and customer provided outdoor unit capacitor. Turned on unit to cycle it. Everything came on normally again. Indoor unit is from 1995 and outdoor unit from 2008. They are both running on r-22 refrigerant which was phased out in 2016.
Replacement of indoor fan relay board of Trane unit and replacement of warranty condenser fan motor on Bosch unit. After replacement of Trane fan relay board found low voltage short on outdoor unit defrost board caused over amperage of low voltage controls taking out both the defrost board and the fan relay. Pulled R wire for outdoor unit for inside air handler so system can run in emergency heat mode. Will return Friday with defrost board for Trane system. Returned Friday 10/24 and replaced defrost board on system - cycled system to check operation - everything came on normally again. No additional recommended changes at this time.

Upon arrival set master bedroom unit to on and cycled to check operation. Everything came on normally - turned on second bedroom unit to check operation of both systems. Both units put out 112°F air off their face - believe the reason it took so long for unit to come on was due to defrost function - unit may have shutdown when going into defrost and had to finish it's defrost check before turning on. Defrost timer could be anywhere from 15-30 minutes and defrost check occurs after every 60 minutes of unit run time.
