My experience with Comfort Central has been 100% positive over the 2 years we have lived in Brevard. Our technician is usually Cameron. He come twice a year. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and is happy to explain everything to me. He is ypically on time and keeps in touch about arrival time. We could not be happier.

Jay came off as patronizing and condescending in his attitude and explanations of proposed work. Not the courtesy I've experienced with other Comfort Central employees. An overall negative impression. Regarding the quality of service, time will tell.

As always, Cameron did an excellent job, was a pleasure to have around, and provided interesting information about our heating system, as well as how to keep it performing well. We definately recommend Comfort Central. Cameron performed the summer check on the unit and scheduled for the winter check in a few months. Cameron was very professional and congenial and throughly inspected the unit including dehumidifier and condensate pump. Report indicates system working well.

Performed heating tune up service on dual fuel system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, defrost, shutdown, cleaning of all furnace components, performance of full combustion analysis. Treatment of drains and condensate pump. Everything looks and runs great!
Performed heating tune up service on heat pump system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, defrost, shutdown, treatment of drains. Everything looks and runs great!
Performed heating tune up service on gas hot water boiler system checking all electrical components, cleaning all boiler components including burners, pilot, flame sensor, performance of full combustion analysis. Checking of all safeties, system start up, operation, shutdown. Everything looks and runs great!
Returned 12/8 to replace warranty furnace board. After replacing board cycled system to check operation. Everything runs normally again.
Found system off upon arrival - turned system on to cycle - system started up in defrost cycle. Believe problem encountered was defrost operation - allowed defrost mode to finish and checked cycle of heat pump and electric heat. Everything runs normally at this time. Explained the defrost circuit and normal operation of heat pump. System will check after about 90 minutes of run time if there is ice on outdoor coil and will shift into defrost. Part of the defrost operation is to stop the top fan on the outdoor unit, shift the unit into cooling to raise the temperatures and pressures of the refrigerant to help shed off the ice. The normal byproduct of defrost will be water dripping from the outside unit and sometimes steam coming from the top of the unit.
System was operational upon arrival - checked system operation, tested safeties, checked and cleaned system drain, checked flame sensor, cycled system several times to make sure it lights off and cycles normally. Believe system failure could have been caused by a slow drain between the trap and the condensate pump which turned system off temporarily to allow drain to catch up. Flushed drain after cleaning to test.

Resynchronized master bedroom thermostat with MHK1 wireless kit and cycled to check operation - if system keeps dropping communication with thermostats may have to replace MHK1 wireless receiver. Everything cycles normally at this time.

Reconfigure drain off of coil to provide positive air through drain pipe to number one help the water drain out due to the lack of pitch on the drain pipe through the attic and secondly to help with the outside not freezing. Tested pipe outside to verify that air was blowing out and water was coming out. This is the only thing we could do to try to help prevent the outside from freezing in the winter time. However, it is still possible it could freeze. But this is the only thing we could do to help with the situation. Removed old dryer ven

Found thermostat wires for the heat strip that go into wire or not not in the wire not all the way replaced the blue wire nut that had tried to get four thermostat wires into it to an orange wire nut to receive larger wires tested heat tripped no issues
