Performed AC maintenance tune up service on single power head Mitsubishi system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, shutdown, cleaning of indoor and outdoor coils and treatment of the drain. Reset thermostat and shut off lights locked up house according to customer instructions. Everything is good to go for the summer!

Found both units a little low on refrigerant added 1 lb r410a to main and 1 lb r410a to upstairs unit. After adding refrigerant noted main system txv slammed shut. Recommend replacement of TXV (thermostatic expansion valve) will call with quote.
Found thermostat programmed and wired for conventional forced air furnace when dual fuel system was installed. Reprogrammed and rewired thermostat for dual fuel operation. Removed a stick wedged between outdoor fan blade and unit shroud causing heat pump condenser fan motor not to come on. Cycled unit in all heating stages to check operation of unit. Found system required software update via comfort cloud app updated software and reconfigured system. Everything runs normally at this time.

Performed AC tune ups on 3 minisplit power heads (2 condensers) checking electrical, refrigerant balance, cleaning of indoor and outdoor units, cleaning of filters, checking operation including start up and shut down. All 3 units running within manufacturers specifications bedroom and kitchen units had 25° temperature drop and outdoor kitchen area had 23° temperature drop indicating all units working in top performance.
