I have a Bosch furnace that burns propane. I had a propane small coming from the furnace and was concerned not only about the furnace operation but also the safety aspect. Kevin Schumann (Comfort Central) responded quickly and fixed the problem. I have a lot of confidence in Kevin and highly recommend him.
I've had a contract with Comfort Central for several years to assess and maintain my HVAC system. This was my first visit with Jay, and he was courteous, came within the time frame planned, and did a great job. He found a problem with the pressure tank for my water heater, and explained how they go bad. He recommended a plumber, and the problem was fixed in days, likely preventing a failure and water leak which could have been very costly. Thanks!

Identified crack in drain pan recommend replacement of drain pan 669944 Need 2" mission coupling Filter drier - biflow Torch kit
Temperature in kitchen of boot closest to the air handler. It’s 57° temperature in living room 67 temperature in addition 77. Turned off dehumidifier check temperatures again and they were all pretty close to the same temperature when the dehumidifier runs. It’s gonna blow hot air, and for some reason, the air is making its way to the addition I believe it’s because of the size of the Plenum, but there’s not much we can do in that crawlspace to change the pleanm

Remove and replace existing dehumidifier in crawl space. 5 Years warranty parts from April Aire. 1 year warranty labor from Comfort Central.
Found water found water leaking from coil through furnace to bottom of furnace. Vacuumed water out of drain pan vacuumed water out of bottom of furnace pulled blower wheel and remove water from blower wheel section. Blower didn’t sound like it was blowing enough. Check dip switches. Set dip switches for 1200 CFM. Check static pressure .31. Added refrigerant as my Pressures weren’t correct. Subcool and super heat now 10 and 10. 20° delta T. Performed leak search couldn’t find the leak. It’s possible it’s very very very small or over the many years has leaked out enough to cause issues. Everything seems to be working the way it should
Was told the system would work and then wouldn’t work for a little while and then would work for a while and not work for a little while. I checked the emergency drain pan had no water SS2 float switch on drain pan had water in it. This would cause the unit to cycle on and off. While I was up there, I went ahead and leak searched the TXV connections. Found no leak. Went to see where the drain pipe terminated at. Found it going into the Earth. Couldn’t find where it came out. Cut the drain pipe in the vertical, so 2 inches of pipe was missing. Poured water into the pipe going into the Earth found it was under the dirt. This would cause a system not to drain. Left the pipe coming out of the house in a fashion that it would drip freely into the pipe going into the Earth. Check my pressures and operation for air condition.

Performed AC cooling tune up service on heat pump system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, shutdown, cleaning of indoor and outdoor coils, treatment of drains. Everything looks and runs great!
Performed AC maintenance tune up service on straight AC system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, and shutdown. Cleaning of indoor and outdoor coils, treatment of drain line and condensate pump. Everything looks and runs great!
Found the system with pressure 85/269 sh51-sc1. My thinking is that the system is low on refrigerant. I need to perform a leak check. We added refrigerant last year and couldn’t find the leak at that time. Found leak on evaporator coil right side in the back. Added refrigerant to get some cooling in the house. Added extra refrigerant to hopefully make it through until we can get The coil replaced. If you lose cooling between now and when we get to coil, give us a call and we’ll come add more refrigerant.
Installed Iwave and filter box, and tested system operation
Fault code E2 high temperature fault. Disassemble frame of dehumidifier replaced high temperature sensor. Check static pressure pressure of air handle. Was .14wc. Add a 10 inch elbow to outlet of dehumidifier. Dehumidifier ran for 15 minutes. Didn’t get a fault while I was here.
