Jay was a godsend!. I thought that my water heater/heating system was a goner. Jay checked out all of my HVAC systems, determined that my pilot light had just gone out, taught me how to relight it if needed, and gave me a safe, two ingredient recipe to rid whatever critters had been leaving their sizeable droppings in the equipment closet. I had an issue with my new heat pump that was not due to the install that they did, but to debris in the drain line. Kevin came out the same day we called, found the problem, explained what it was and got our system working again. He told us what to watch for and if needed will come back to replace the drain line. He did not charge me for a service call and was helpful and professional. Comfort Central has exhibited great customer service from the first service call with Cameron when my old system failed, Kevin doing the estimate, Laurie in the office helping me with financing options to Jay and his crew doing the install and Kevin taking care of the recent problem. Great people and a great company. They have my business as long as I still live here!

Ultimate Cooling Tune-Up: cleaned coils, brushed and cleaned traps, added pan treatment tablets to pan. tested and checked all controls, wiring connections. tested temperatures, checked filters. checked refrigerant temperature and pressures, tested static duct pressure. tested blower operation, tested cooling operation to ensure working within manufacturer specification Let the pilot light on her hot water heater. If it goes out again, should call a plumber as the thermal couple or the gas valve might be faulty
P4 error code indicates a float switch open - checked condensate drain and found line was clear - checked operation of condensate pump and found condensate pump functional at this time - checked auxiliary drain pan float switch and found it slightly up with no water in the pan - removed a hair from the float switch and switch ended up disengaging normally. Reset outdoor unit and indoor unit and cycled system to check operation - everything runs normally again!
Found outdoor unit out on 16 error code indicating a communication error between indoor and outdoor unit. Reset indoor unit and checked low voltage communication wires. Reset outdoor unit and stripped and reattached low voltage communication wires cutting out corroded connections and what appeared to be evidence of rodent chew. Everything came back on normally. Wants to set up for ultimate cooling tune up.

Removed P-trap from crawlspace. Added vent after J trap at the air handler. Couldn’t rerun the drain in the space between the drop ceiling and the floor joists. However, I poured a half a gallon water down the trap next to the unit and it all drained out. I don’t see any other issues.

Found system breaker had loose connection on L1 inside panel - tightened connection and cycled system to check operation - everything runs normally again!
Found system defrost board and contactor failed - system under warranty - will return with repair parts 7/30 AM Returned 7/30 and replaced defrost board, sensors, and contactor - cycled system to check operation. Everything looks and runs great!
Performed a full air conditioner installation, replacing a 20-year-old failing unit with a new high-efficiency Trane system. At the same time, completed a new ductless mini-split installation in the recently added sunroom to provide dedicated heating and cooling for that space. Both systems are running perfectly.
Found outdoor unit circuit breaker tripped - pulled disconnect outside - reset breaker - checked capacitors and wiring of outdoor unit - reset outdoor disconnect - cycled system to check operation - everything came on normally - watched system to check amperage and voltages at outdoor unit - everything appears to run normally at this time. Breaker may have tripped due to recent electrical storm.
