Performed AC maintenance tune up service on heat pump systems checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, shutdown, cleaning of indoor and outdoor coils, treatment of drains. Found indoor evaporator coil on main house unit had signs of refrigerant oil leaking, tested and confirmed with leak detector. Will verify warranty of evaporator coil and call back with pricing and availability of evaporator coil replacement.

Found that disconnect in crawlspace was not making good connection, replaced disconnect and tested system operation. System is working properly
System was not getting 240 volts from panel. Took system breaker off panel rail and put it back on - system supplied 240v - cycled system to check operation. Everything cycles normally again. Performed heating tune up checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, defrost, shutdown.
Found system back up heat droop set to comfort - set to 3 degrees temperature differential and cycled system to check operation - heat pump has more than enough capacity to heat home and should kick into the second stage before electric heat comes on.

Found low voltage short in contactor causing system to blow fuses found parasitic draw in thermostat causing unit not to come on. Replaced thermostat and contactor and cycled in both heat and cool.

Found breaker to outdoor unit was off, turned breaker on and tested system operation. System is now working correctly.

Indoor blower is pulling .9 amps Temperature difference between return and supply is 20 Outdoor compressor is pulling 4.7 amps Outdoor fan motor is pulling .5 amps Subcool is 6 Superheat is 8 Capacitor is within manufacturer specifications
Replaced heat strip kit. Replaced air handler control board. Replaced coil sensor. Wrap the air handler to prevent any compensation. Didn’t tape the ends by the Plenum only taped where the two seam came together at the bottom of the front of the air handler. To access air handler just cut the tape on the bottom lift up the insulation Easy Peezy.
Flushed and treated drain line and flushed and treated condensate pump to help prevent future back ups. Recommended customer keep an eye on it over the next couple of daysto insure system is draining still. Covered under warranty of previous call
