Couldn’t add refrigerant today. Evaporator coil was iced up all the way to the outdoor unit. We will return tomorrow and add the refrigerant to give cooling.

Found open compressor windings, compressor start shorted to ground - outdoor unit flat on refrigerant from compressor blow out. Recommend replacement of system. 20 amp Siemens outdoor unit breaker
Performed AC maintenance tune up service on heat pump systems checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, shutdown, cleaning of indoor and outdoor coils, treatment of drains. Found indoor evaporator coil on main house unit had signs of refrigerant oil leaking, tested and confirmed with leak detector. Will verify warranty of evaporator coil and call back with pricing and availability of evaporator coil replacement.
Performed maintenance tune up service on heat pump system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, shutdown, cleaning of indoor and outdoor unit and cleaning of filters and drains. 16x20x4 filters will be due for replacement in July - recommend ordering and replacing filter.
Found that disconnect in crawlspace was not making good connection, replaced disconnect and tested system operation. System is working properly
System was not getting 240 volts from panel. Took system breaker off panel rail and put it back on - system supplied 240v - cycled system to check operation. Everything cycles normally again. Performed heating tune up checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, defrost, shutdown.
Found system back up heat droop set to comfort - set to 3 degrees temperature differential and cycled system to check operation - heat pump has more than enough capacity to heat home and should kick into the second stage before electric heat comes on.

Replacement of customer provided filter. Everything looks and runs great!
Found breaker to outdoor unit was off, turned breaker on and tested system operation. System is now working correctly.
