Performed heating maintenance tune up service on heat pump system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, defrost, shutdown. Everything looks and runs great!
Found low voltage short in contactor causing system to blow fuses found parasitic draw in thermostat causing unit not to come on. Replaced thermostat and contactor and cycled in both heat and cool.
Performed dual fuel maintenance tune up service on heat pump and LP gas furnace systems checking all electrical components, safeties, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, defrost, shutdown, cleaning of burners, flame sensor, collector box and condensate trap, treatment of condensate pump and drain. Replacement of customer provided filter. Everything looks and runs great!
Found breaker to outdoor unit was off, turned breaker on and tested system operation. System is now working correctly.
Performed AC maintenance tune up service on heat pump system checking both heat and cool due to late in season tune up. Checked all electrical components, refrigerant balance, units start up, operation, shutdown, cleaning of indoor and outdoor coils, treatment of drain line. Everything looks and runs great! No recommended changes at this time.
Customer concerned unit not making water due to potential issues with system. Checked system operation, checked drain pan, drain line pitch, system charge. Everything looks and runs great! Let system run long enough cycle for water to condense on evaporator coil and start to drip into pan and flushed drain line to check flow. Covered per Kevin's request.
Performed tune up on system System is in great working condition. Indoor blower is pulling .9 amps Temperature difference between return and supply is 20 Outdoor compressor is pulling 4.7 amps Outdoor fan motor is pulling .5 amps Subcool is 6 Superheat is 8 Capacitor is within manufacturer specifications
Replaced heat strip kit. Replaced air handler control board. Replaced coil sensor. Wrap the air handler to prevent any compensation. Didn’t tape the ends by the Plenum only taped where the two seam came together at the bottom of the front of the air handler. To access air handler just cut the tape on the bottom lift up the insulation Easy Peezy.
Flushed and treated drain line and flushed and treated condensate pump to help prevent future back ups. Recommended customer keep an eye on it over the next couple of daysto insure system is draining still. Covered under warranty of previous call
Breaker burned up again. Recommend return with heat kit/breaker kit, blower board, evaporator coil sensor. Recommend wrapping unit with insulation to prevent excessive sweating inside the cabinet and outside.
Furnish parts and labor to replace (2) Heating Elements, Sequencer, Transformer, Limits, wiring and wiring connectors.
Found indoor unit transformer, electric heat kit, and wiring harness has burned up, believed to be caused by failure of electric heat kit taking everything out in close proximity to the system. Would recommend replacement of heat kit, transformer, wiring harness. Heat kit on order will be in 3-5 days - quoted $902 repair for all parts heat kit, transformer, and wiring. Returned with parts discovered heat kit delivered was not right heat kit for this system. Will call with availability of new heat kit.
Chang d electric heat strip out and breaker and checked system operation - everything looks and runs great!
Found damper number 22 bedroom area not opening when 24 V is removed. I replaced this damper and checked it several times to make sure it opened and closed zone three actuator was replaced because it was getting hung up on opening as well. Tested zone three open and closed like it’s supposed to. These two are under warranty. When I turn the breaker that’s on the unit back on it would not power back up on closer inspection I found condensation on it and we will have to replace either the breaker or the heat strip. This will also be under warranty. Right now I have the wires wire nut together so if if we need to turn the power off. We have to turn it off at the main breaker
Performed AC cooling tune up on Bosch heat pump system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, shutdown, cleaning of indoor and outdoor coils, treatment of drains for both air handler and dehumidifier, treatment of condensate pump. Everything looks and runs great! Unit air filter is changed.
