Jay seemed very competent technically. We encountered a problem with my fuse box being poorly labelled, but he was able to figure it out pretty quickly. He arrived on time both days and overall it only took about 1 hour longer than projected. Did a good job cleaning up the worksite.

Found bad hot surface ignitor preventing unit from lighting off - recommend replace hot surface ignitor -
Replacement of Outdoor Temperature Sensor and Addition of Indoor Temperature Sensor for Temperature Averaging
Replaced igniter and tested system operation
Performed heating maintenance tune up service on heat pump system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, defrost, shutdown. Checked outdoor fan motor on gree mini split system making excessive noise during unit operation. Recommend condenser fan motor be replaced as motor bearing appears to be failing. Will call with pricing and availability of fan motor.
Performed heating tune up service on dual fuel and heat pump systems. Found bad solenoid on dual fuel humidifier - sold estimate will call to schedule replacement when part arrives.
Found outdoor temperature sensor not working properly with eim not showing outdoor humidity. Recommend replacing outdoor temperature sensor. Also wants an estimate to add a remote indoor temperature sensor.
Found system flat on r410a refrigerant system holds 11 lbs found unit capacitor failed and common wires burned - recommend replacement of heat pump system.

Found system operating normally but thermostat balance point set for 40° lowered balance point to 30 to take advantage of heat pump heating. Cycled heat pump to check operation.
Found condensate line clogged with mud from mudslide behind home. Trimmed back condensate line and cycled pump to check operation. Everything came on normally.
Found blower capacitor failed causing unit to lock out. Replaced capacitor and cycled unit to check operation.
Replaced blower motor - blower wheel - added supply grille. - cycled system to check operation.
Found chigo unit down 4 oz of refrigerant added refrigerant and cycled to check operation. Everything appears to run normally again.
