Upon arrival, the customer was concerned with her son was down and a bunch of water was coming out of the closet that the air handler is in. After further inspection, I found the condenser coil, extremely rusted and leaking. The low refrigerant charge most likely caused the evaporator coil to freeze up, which would explain all the water. The coil is clear now I made sure the condensate pump and drain lines were clear as well. I then checked the pressures to find the system low on Freon. I sent an estimate to top the system off. It was approved. After adding the refrigerant, I tested the system operations and your system is cooling properly at this time. I highly recommend getting a new system install ASAP due to the age and shape of the outdoor condenser coil. I will get a proposal emailed over ASAP for options on a new system install..
