Today I performed a winter time tune up on your Goodman heat pump unit. Everything is working properly at this time.
I performed a summer time tune up on two Goodman Air Conditioner units. Looked into the complaint of the system furthest from the water making a banging noise on start up. Looked over the system really well and got my amp readings from the compressor and fan motor and both are good. I tested the capacitor and found that to be weak. I replaced it with a factory capacitor I had on my truck. Cycled the system a few times after replacing the capacitor and can no longer hear the banging noise.
