Upon arrival I found the customers split system, not cooling properly due to a bad, dual capacitor in the condenser. I also noticed the condenser coil to be partially plugged with dirt, dust and debris. I sent an estimate for a new capacitor and to clean the coil. The estimates were approved. After installing the new capacitor and cleaning the coil, your system is on and cooling properly at this time
Today I performed a maintenance on both your Amana heat pump split systems. I checked all electrical connections on both indoor and outdoor equipment, flushed the drain lines, changed the air filters, checked the capacitor ratings and washed the condensers outside. Both systems are operating properly at this time
Tucked the wires back in the side of the air handler, replaced the broken cable connector going into the air handler, and strapped wires together so it wouldn’t happen again. No charge, mishap from maintenance yesterday.
