12/31/2025- I arrived on site to find the air filter extremely dirty and the contactor for the heat strip kit buzzing loudly. The reason the smoke detector went off was likely due to the dust being burnt of the heat strips since the outdoor unit had remained off due to a pressure fault due to the dirty air filter. This units warranty has expired on November 4th of this year so I charged full price for the replacement contactor. I tested the unit after replacing the air filter and faulty contactor and found the unit is now working and heating properly and without issue. I have verified that all components are functioning correctly and the unit is operating properly at the time of service. I have charged the card on file for the cost of repairs/daignosic today.
