01/02/2026- I arrived on site to find the unit tripped on high limit lockout due to the blower motor not functioning in heat mode only. I verified that the control board was sending the correct voltage to the blower motor, but it would still only fail in heat mode due to an internal issue with the blower motor. I was able to get the unit to heat by swapping the heat and cool terminals on the control board, allowing the blower to work in heat mode but fail to run in cooling mode. I informed the customer about this and added a photo to the job of how the unit is supposed to be wired when the blower motor is replaced. This unit is currently working in heat mode only, and the estimate for replacement of the blower motor has been emailed to the customer.
