Upon my arrival I looked into the concerns of water leaking from the back mini split unit. After stress testing the system I found water was passing through the drain pan but not coming out of the pipe outside. I pulled the cover from the line set and found rats had chewed through the drain line, insulation and wires going to the unit and water was leaking into the wall. I will be getting quotes put together to email over for these repairs. On the system we are replacing the motor in today I found that the current motor is rattling so hard that it caused the low voltage wire to come off the system and not send power to the thermostat. When we return for the repair we will verify the system no longer has a hard vibration.
