Brennan G Completed check up 2007 Comfort maker 1.5ton Straight Cool System is cooling at this time However discovered multiple areas of concern throughout todays visit. The indoor blower motor is covered in oil, indicating it has overheated The evap coil is rusted. The compressor fan dual capacitor is weak , over the 3% tolerance rating. The compressor contactor is pitted. The compressor is reading caution on the megohmeter reading. Gave repair and replacement quotes. Will follow up with client unable to discuss estimates he is working from home at the time of service.
Repair Option, completed Found blower overheated and clogged with insulation from air handler,cleared blower and checked capacitor and amp draw,blower checked good. Customer will see if blower continues to work and will either replace system or have maintenance done.
