Wayne was on time. Unclogged the drain pipe and AC was up and running in a short time.
Troy is an excellent employee of this company. From the moment I met him he was warm and welcoming. Everything he did on my equipment was explained to me before he worked on it. I wished more workmen treated their customers with the same respect as Troy did.
Professional and knowledgeable service. I would only ask for Wayne going forward. Thank you.
Berry was informative and friendly. Communicated what he found and took care of the issues.
James Thornsberry has provided excellent service from the initial consultation through the pre-inspection of my new AC system.
Corey and his crew did a great job with the new AC installation. I was very impressed with all four of them! I like to give special recognition to Rodney and Lee. Rodney is very professional and enthusiastic about his job. Lee installed the thermostat and made sure to explain its features and how to operate it.
Luis knew his stuff. He responded quickly and promptly. He showed me the problems with my AC before he fixed each issue. I've called Hot2cold for the last 5 years whenever I need AC service.👍
James Thornsberry represented the company very well. He is very professional, polite, and knowledgeable.
Luis was very knowledgeable and good at his work. He was here and gone in an hour. Drained my clogged line which was backed up to the floater which caused my AC unit to shut down as a safety feature. He also cleaned my dirty coils. Gave me a few pointers on how to keep my AC running better in the future. Big thumbs up.
James puts you at ease with important info about how your ac unit works
Upon arrival system was cooling. Customer said it wasn’t cooling for 5hrs last night. I went up to the attic and checked ahu inspected unit and found water in float switch. Not enough water to trip the float switch but definitely some in there. Recommended a Uv light and to get on maintenance program. Customer decided to do the one time maintenance today and get in the club membership. As I performed the Maintenance I flushed the drain line with water inspected Evap coil and blower. Inspected condenser unit and rinsed off with water hose. Inspected all electrical components and found a low 35/5 capacitor. Informed customer and she doesn’t want to do it today. I informed her it could last not that long and maybe not thru the summer. Checked pressures and temps and everything is looking good. Customer paid $190.95 total with check number 5207
Upon arrival found unit working fine checked tsat and found bad red wire. Replaced wire with orange at tsat and at AHU. Replaced batter on tstat. Checked pressures and sub cooling and super heat are good. System is running fine since I arrived and even after changing red wire to orange it’s still running fine. I checked the Honeywell red link battery and it does have lithium AA batteries. Informed customer if we have to come back we have to replace the tsat on the wall. I spoke to Wayne and informed him about this call.
Customer had us out for yearly maintenance
Provided estimates to the customer. Customer has informed me that it just turned out to be a clogged drain line and is no longer replacing the unit.
Inverter board replacement
Customer called us out because he was getting warm air blowing out of his AC when he was calling for cool. Upon investigation, Troy found that the inverter board on the compressor was completely blank after tracing power to the board. Troy found that it was getting power to the board, but not transmitting it from the board Thuss compromising the board. Relay the information to the customer. Customer agreed to have the inverter order replaced. Customer is under warranty still so we will get the warranty board.
This estimate is being presented for the replacement of the Inverter Board under Warranty. Customers unit currently holds a 10 Year Parts Warranty which covers the cost of the part, Parts Warranties cover the part ONLY and not additional services attached to the repair. Pricing not covered by the warranty and reflected in this estimate are for the following: Warranty Fee's we are charged, trip costs to and from the supply house, labor and troubleshooting after the new part is put in.
Customer called Isaiah because her system was not working properly upon investigation Troy found the refrigerant levels were extremely low indicating there was a leak in the coil. The system was 2008. I told the customer it is more prudent to replace her system then to replace the coil at this point, and she agreed we quoted her on a 3.5 ton train.
Reduced fan speed Redid exit point from unit drain line Confirmed unit is draining on it own Cleared drain pan
Customer was having a drainage issue still, so we did a drain clear. We didn’t do a full dream. Treatment at this time would be recommended probably for the next
