Customer was asking for an estimate on potentially adding a couple of new return lines to their system. The back two rooms for the kids are not keeping up with the system. Replace the system about two years ago, so this is purely a ductwork issue. I told the customer that the best course of action would be to give him a quote to give him a rough idea of what they’re asking as far as an estimate goes for the service, but in addition it might be advisable to have us come out to perform static pressure test and take a look to see how the current ductwork is functioning as it could be too old to keep up with what the demand is
Cleared a clogged drain line
Customer called us because their machine was not cooling after a lightning strike. Upon investigation Troy found that they needed to switch their breakers on and off to reset the system. After which system kicked on. Came out to double check system make sure that it was operating correctly. Everything looks like it was in the normal range.
Inverter technology delivers the most efficient and comfortable home. Sometimes called variable speed systems these machines are like having dozens of differently sized a/c units all in one. They have a variable speed compressor that incrementally “throttles” the power being used. Expect even temperatures, low bills, and extraordinary air quality.
Today we visited to perform a system maintenance as part of our Fall Promotion. The unit is in good shape and working okay. We did learn the unit is not properly charged with refrigerant although it is still performing well. It seems the charge was not adjusted after the installation because James was not able to locate a leak.
Today we visited to follow up with the recent installation. The new machine looks great and is running properly. Brett mentioned how much quieter the system is and the rooms that used to be warm are now cooling evenly. The project is ready for inspection.
• This machine is the least expensive to initially install. It uses a single stage compressor and indoor blower motor. This unit is the most similar to the current system.
Today we visited to provide pricing to replace the air conditioning system.
Brennan G Today I visited for the office mini split not cooling. I found that it was reading an error code (ea) for faulty four way valve (reversing valve). I reset power to the equipment and it is now functioning normally. Unsure what caused this error message , informed Dan if this reoccurs we will likely need to replace the valve.
Technician performed full system maintenance check up. Inspected all electrical connections and components. Checked amperage draw for compressor and fan motors. Checked refrigerant charge and found it to be at the proper level. Inspected condenser and evaporator coils. Fully flushed and cleaned drain line. Air filter is clean. Rinsed off condenser coil. System was fully tested and no issues were found. System is running and cooling properly at this time without any issues.
- Replacement of the leaking accumulator tank - Replacement of the refrigerant muffler - Recharge the system with refrigerant (R-410a)
Unit side discharge port needs to be re-flared, and recharged for proper operations.
