Troy, Rodney, and Lee(American Asian?) all contributed greatly to get my AC back up and running. A giant thanks!
Trey was very professional and knowledgeable!!
I’m Happy to share that Troy returned and resolved the issues I had. My previous review was not good and I regret posting it I’m turning into my father lol
I asked Troy to have the repair persons fix and clean the outside unit. Cory/Rodney were on the roof Max 20 minutes rapped it up, showed me pictures. Did not bother to turn on the unit. It's a little louder and more vibration than before. I asked if they cleaned the unit Rodney said they were not told to clean it ! I’m frustrated not sure what my next move is.
Response from Hot 2 Cold Air Conditioning:
Hi Mark, thank you for making us aware of this. We didn't see where you called into us about this issue and would have been more than happy to follow up on this for you prior to posting a review. We will be more than happy to send Troy back out to evaluate the noise. The estimate that you approved was for the Contactor, the Condensor Pad for the roof, and the Hard Start Kit, so thats the work the crew was informed they needed to complete on the appointment. Please let us know here or call us at the office if you would like to have Troy come back out to evaluate the noise and you can also speak with him in regards to the cleaning.
Showed up on time and very pleasant and made sure he ckd everything begote he left
James was extremely thorough and very knowledgeable! At the end of the day needing to replace the entire AC unit is not fun, but the knowledge and options offered by James are comforting!
He was helpful with troubleshooting issue. I was able to temporarily resolve issue by changing back to old Tstat while reprogramming new one.
Great people to work with! Considerate of our needs n concerns! Very professional n Friendly!
I'm 100% unsatisfied with the service we received. Our unit stopped working again shortly after your employee left. We had to call another company and pay them to diagnose the real problem. You may want to evaluate some of your employees.
I got multiple estimates and these guys weren’t the lowest price but they are the best service and their price is really reasonable and their attention to detail is great
Cory did a great job with the install and with the ductwork he crawled around in a 2 foot crawlspace in 91° weather for two hours to make sure that we had everything right that’s the kind of guy I want working for me
Transformer Found shorted contractor. Will need replacement.
Customer was not getting power to any of his machinery. He had a working thermostat. The voltage was not getting distributed by the transformer so we need to replace it.
Time for a new system as you can see the condenser fins have brought it away. Compressor locked
Did a full diagnostic on AC unit. Air handler had a small about of bio growth in air handler. All electrical was good. Recommending a hard start and UV protection as preventative maintenance measures to extend the life of the system. System, was installed in 2018.
Customer did not answer reschedule call for another date
Customer had us back out to clear off his condenser. We sprayed it down, readjusted the pad a little bit to help combat some vibration and the customer has since been
Preformed visual maintenance on unit and spoke about about duct modifications
Today we visited to provide information to replace the air-conditioning system. We learned that in addition to the air conditioner, ductwork will need to be redesigned/replaced. James put together the relevant information and sent it to Mark. Mark stated he will get in touch tomorrow with a final decision on the contractor he’s choosing for this project.
James visited the home and waited for 30 minutes. Client did not answer the phone or text messages. Whenever she returns home she will need to call in to reschedule the appointment.
Today we visited to offer pricing to replace the air conditioning system. Joe just purchased the home and is renovating it. After discussing the available options Joe is working out how to fund the work using his construction loan. He will get in touch with James next Monday to discuss the project.
Today we visited to determine why the AC isn’t working. Dan mentioned the compressor was making a grinding noise and the system wasn’t keeping the home cool. We learned the unit is out of refrigerant (18psi). James located a refrigerant leak in two locations, one at the filter dryer in the condenser and in the evaporator coil in the air handler. James put together two options for consideration, a repair and replacement.
