Just found the metal plate that am guessing goes over the compressor, leaning against house. Not good. Was not informed of what needed to be done beforehand. Did not receive an invoice for said work done, although I did call and woman who answered emailed it out right away, very appreciated. Did very good job on drain pipe, not sure if inside unit was opened to fix clog.

Customer called us out to get a quote on a new compressor for the unit he has. Customer has a 2 ton Goodman heat pump. Customer had another company come out to diagnose the issue and Troy corroborated the diagnosis of needing a new compressor. As to the cause of why the compressor seized it looks that the fins on the edge of the Compression unit are clogged up and there’s a lot of foliage on one side, which is restricting airflow coming into cool off the compression bulb. Customer is looking to get one more house to come out and give them a quote on the compressor. Quoted customer on a warranty 2 ton compression bulb as he is still under the Goodman warranty, but he is outside of the gap warranty. Hot2cold did install this four years ago with the previous landlord.
Changed the filter for the customer
Customers with compressor was off-line due to a bad float switch. We jumped out the float switch. I got everything turned back on.
Today we visited to perform a maintenance on the air conditioning system. The unit is from 2006, but in working order. The refrigerant pressures are where they should be, the temperature differential is spot on and the unit keeps working.

Today we visited to get the materials and invoice together for an upcoming installation.
Today we visited to provide a second opinion regarding the AC unit. Mr. Mindykowski had another AC company perform a system maintenance and when they completed the maintenance they charged him $488 even though the maintenance was supposed to cost $150. After evaluating the system the unit is past its expected useful life, but it is working fine.
Today we visited to evaluate the ductwork and determine why the blower failed prematurely. We learned the ductwork is not compatible with the modern AC unit. We will be returning to replace the ductwork and replace the faulty blower motor.
