Le is fantastic! Very professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what he was doing and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend!
Jeanette did a great job getting us set up with the service call and keeping us informed every step of the way. Troy was extremely knowledgeable, professional and thorough while servicing the HVAC. He provided valuable information and tips for keeping it running smoothly. Fantastic customer service throughout - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
My HIGHEST recommendation! Jeanette (office manager) provided excellent customer service and scheduled us for same day service. Le and Louis (AC service technicians) were phenomenal…knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely took pride in their work. These three individuals were superb, and we will be using Hot2Cold for all of our AC service needs. Thank you!
When my A/c broke I called 8 companies. Hot 2 Cold was the 6th I called, the second to show up for an assessment (on a Sunday) They were 1/8 who offered portable air conditioners to help with the situation and reduce the urgency so we could make a sound choice. The techs came within 2 days and quickly and efficiently installed a whole ne system. Their detail was incredible all the piping and wiring is clean and neat. Much appreciated when one loses the A/c in the Florida summer!
Customer service was excellent! Corey delivered and explained lot of things about our system that we did not know. Gave us peace of mind about future system requirements. I highly recommend him and this company. I believe them to be honest, on time and nice people.
First time using Hot 2 Cold and I was very happy with the service. The company representatives are professional and courteous. I have no complaints. I will tell my neighbors and friends about you guys❤️

Brennan is super. He was very professional and responsive. He was also extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain all the details--including the additional ones I asked about. I will definitely use Hot2Cold in the future.
Great service. Very thorough and kept me informed as he saw things. I highly recommend.
Upon arrival found unit low on refrigerant. Leak search and found a minor leak in evaporator coil. (Video included) As off right now the unit is cooling but as the ambient temperature rises outside you will lose cooling efficiency as the temperature of refrigerant increases. Evaporator coil needs to be replaced
Upon arrival compressor was not running. I opened outside unit and found capacitor wires completely fried. I repaired wires and compressor turned right on. I also checked and made sure capacitor was still good. Once system kicked on I checked pressures and system was low on 410a. The suction line was starting to freeze up. I informed customer and added 2 pounds of refrigerant. Customer also wants a quote for a new mini split. Customer paid $300 with check. #9636.
Customer called us out because the compressor was going off at night. Upon investigation, Troy found that the ambient sensor was getting tripped at the cooler temperature. Went ahead and jumped out the low pressure switch, which was attached to the ambient pressure switch and got the machine up and running if there are more problems, the board was acting a little strange Might be worth looking into replacing the board at some point.
Replaced condenser fan motor. Inspected old motor and found the shaft was loose and the fan was running backwards. Also amps were very high and motor was not working properly. Replaced motor and system is running correctly. Checked amps and amps are good. Checked pressures .
Customer called us out because her system was not working. Upon investigation Troy found that we had installed a motor on her condenser that was an aftermarket and has failed within the year so we need to replace the condenser fan motor. I have already replaced the capacitor, but we will need to schedule a return visit to replace the condenser fan motor.
Customer called us out because thermostat wasn’t reading correctly. Customer was low on Freon and we added to adjust.
Upon arrival I leak tested system after finding it low on refrigerant Found leak located on top layer of evaporator coil Provide estimate for replacement and emailed landlord
Zone board replacement. Current zone board is not receiving the 24 V crossing from the thermostats to the equipment. We measured the 24 V going from thermostat into the zone board unsuccessfully on both thermostats and then saw 24 V coming back from the equipment side, so the signal is getting lost in the board for the equipment to shut off. Replace float switch and cup, there is currently no cup for the float
Sulfate had fallen out durning hurricane cause a lot of insulation to be covered unit maintenance was needed Inside a/h had rust build up on stricker because of razor blade that was sitting on top of unit told. Customer of concern Check of amps and made sure to sticker tag are on both units Drain line cleaning was done as well Made sure unit kick on and compressor was flowing b4 leaving
Customer had us out again because the compressor would not turn off after it had achieved its temperature. Upon investigation, Troy found that the zone board that was in place is faulty. We determine this by measuring the 24 V between the common and yellow wire on the thermostat side of the zone board for the top thermostat in the bottom thermostat and we’re not getting 24 V. On the other side of the board where the equipment is, we were getting 24 V coming from the equipment side so that indicated the failure was inside of the zone board. Technician visited with tenants and sent the estimate to the owners. Spoke with the owners and they are just deciding whether or not they would like to also replace the float switch or not.
Customer was complaining that the system was not keeping up in the upstairs more than the downstairs. Upon investigation, Troy found that it was controlled by a zone board. Troy also discovered that the upstairs thermostat was low on batteries and not admitting enough 24 V to the equipment, which wasn’t allowing the airflow to happen. We charge the system up with some more refrigerant and we replace the batteries And everything seems to be running smoothly.
This estimate is being presented for the replacement of the Blower Motor that is under Warranty
Customer had to sell because his mini split was not cooling properly. Upon investigation, Troy found that there was very little pressure and it was very low on Freon. Added 1 pound of Freon to the system and got a 18° temperature split.
Customer called us out to quote him on system replacement. We provided estimates for him both with ductwork and without. Customer prefers to stay on train. Customer is not a fan of Lennox Goodman or Grande air
