David was very thorough and detailed with our service. He made sure we had full understanding of the issues we had and the work he was doing.
Berry came again and fixed the problem causing no A/C from one of my 2 units. Not to do with Berry but Hot2Cold always schedules me very late in the afternoon for some reason. Sometimes the tech can’t get here cause it’s too late and has to home the next day. Good thing I’m retired.
Berry was very diligent diagnosing the problem with one of the thermostats. He said he will be prompt in replacing the part and back to us tomorrow to get our AC functioning again.
James is great. He leaves no stone unturned in trying to resolve our AC issues. I always want James to be assigned to help with my AC unit problems. He’s also very courteous.
James did an outstanding job fixing my AC issues. My house was freezing and I couldn’t control the temp via the thermostats. He diagnosed several problems and fixed all of them promptly. I highly recommend James for air conditioning/thermostat issues!
James did a great job diagnosing my thermostat problems and reviewing how he will fix them. I highly recommend him for any problem you may have with your thermostats.
Anthony was great! He found the problem, fixed it, checked the air filters, reset the thermostats and wouldn’t leave till he was sure everything was running smoothly.

Upon arrival system was cooling fine. I checked pressures and head pressure was going up really high. Head pressure went up too 560 and sub cool at 44 degrees. System was completely over charged. Recovered refrigerant and brought the sub cool where it needs to be. Charged customer $79 for service paid with card.
Upon arrival system was cooling fine. I did a thorough inspection of unit. I came across tape coming off supply plenum. I regaled those sections. I did not see no water in float switch. I did see microbial growth in drain line. I checked pressures and delta and everything was looking good. I also went ahead and flushed drain line with vacuum and water hose. Pulled out a lot of gunk. I also sprayed down condenser coil with water hose. I did come across and double trap and stack was needed to be higher than primary line. I informed customer if he has issue with drain line we will need to remove the double trap. Customer paid $189 for drain line treatment with card.
3.5 Dura star replacement and replacing fiber board in return
Customer called us out because her air-conditioning system was no longer cooling sufficiently. Investigation Troy found that there was a leak in her coil and at the age of her unit which was installed in 2007 replacing any coils on either the compressor or the evaporator coil is extremely in advisable. Told the customer the best thing to do would be to replace the system fully. Customer agreed to the price will be using synchrony to fund the project.
Float switch replacement
Customer invited us back out to take a look at her condenser. Condenser was not running upon arrival. The fan was on upstairs, so Troy jumped out the float switch and cycled power and after the delay finished everything turned on waiting for another 10 to 15 minutes to make sure that the home was cooling achieved a 56° Temperature for the supply vents versus an 81° return. Customer was advised to replace her float switch as soon as possible. Customer agreed signed off on doing the work. Troy did not have a float switch on his truck. Need a tech to go out and install.
Customer had his yearly maintenance scheduled. We performed the maintenance system seems to be in good working order.
Customer called us out to change her filter and
Customer called us out because she had ice on her pipe and she turned off the system. Upon an investigation, Troy turned the system on and the phenomenon did not happen again. I put my gauges on and the pressures were correct as well as the capacitor was running well. I did observe several lizards running out of the control box area on the compressor. Adventure to say that one of the lizards got into the electrical and tripped it so that the fan wasn’t spinning and it might’ve caused the ice.

Today we visited because Edward was concerned the air conditioning system was not working properly. We learned the unit is performing as it should. The concern stems from trying to keep the home temperature in the high 60s all throughout the day. We discussed how the system is designed to keep the home at roughly 75° when it’s 94° outside.
