Great Service! Always on time!

Set up an appointment for an annual check-up. Our technician Troy was very efficient and courteous. Called in the A.M. with his ETA, showed up on time, removed his shoes when entering my house cause he saw that's what I do, asked several questions to make sure everything was working properly or if there was any concerns with how things are running. After the service, followed through with what was done, age of the units, how they are looking and what we can do to stretch-out it's life line. Made sure there were no questions or concerned. I have been using Hot 2 Cold for several years now and find they are a good company with great employees!

Follow up visit

Hot2Cold has been servicing my AC/Heater for the past 4 years. I had water draining into my garage instead of the outside drainage. Corey was honest in saying it was a clog. He cleaned everything out, walk me through to show everything was working properly, said everything was running good and there was no charge. As with all my experience's with Hot2Cold, their technicians are courteous, knowledgeable, respectful, and clean up when done-I would highly recommend them!

Customer had to sell to take a look at her thermostat because she bought a new one and it wasn’t working appropriately. Upon investigation, Troy found that the thermostat was wired correctly, but it was not programmed to be a heat pump. It was programmed to be a conventional heating system. Troy reprogrammed the thermostat however the compressor still wouldn’t come on. Troy tried to test several different things. We tested the float switch. We tested the capacitor. We reset her high-pressure switch and the entire time I was getting the same code from the defrost board, simultaneous double flashing indicating a normal operation when there wasn’t a normal operation quoted around a new defrost board and a new capacitor as I found the capacitor was also failing.

Customers had us out to ascertain the viability of current machine. After investigation tried, determined that the compressor was grounded due to saltwater flooding. Customers are going to be needing a full system replacement in the future, along with ductwork to accommodate as the customers are completely tearing down and starting over

Customers had us out today to check their air conditioning system. Customers reported that the air conditioner was only running for a few minutes at a time and then shutting off. Upon investigation, Troy found that the drain line was clogged up and needed to be dislodged. Troy ran the vacuum on the external pipe and cleared the drain line

Customers compressor was not coming on. Upon investigation Troy found that the thermal expansion valve was not functioning properly. We knew this because when we linked our gauges to the compressor, the low side was staying under 90 psi when we put it into heat mode it went up to 233.77 and stayed stagnant in heat mode when we put it back into cool mode after it stayed around 84 psi

Customer called us out because the AC unit was not functioning. Pan investigation found that the float switch was no good inside the cabinet. Caught it out on a new float switch email to the company. They are going to sign off and we will return with a full search.
