Extremely professional and explained everything very thoroughly. Quick to diagnose and fix the issue. A delight to work with hot2cold
James was fantastic, friendly, and professional. He gave me plenty of information about air conditioning and filtration system.
James did an excellent job getting us set up with a new system. Highly recommend!
Corey and his crew did a great job installing our new system.
Customer had us out to take a look at his system because it was not keeping up with the set temperature again. The previous visit we had loaded the system with a couple of pounds of Freon just a few months ago. Upon arrival, Troy saw there was ice all over the coil and ran it in heat mode to try to clear some of the ice off of the coil. System is a straight cool system. Coyle looks to be blocked and at first it looked too perhaps just need to pull and clean. After putting my gauges on the system, it had very low pressure on the suction side coupled with the Freon leaving so quickly pointed to an evaporator coil leak. Explain this to the customer. Customer agreed to replace his evaporator coil Instead of replacing the whole system which he was halfway thinking about customer would like to finance the job, if possible, as he already has a relationship with synchrony for the ductwork we completed a few years back if not, he will come out of pocket.
Customer called us out today because he had heard a noise only a few times coming from his compressor. Upon investigation, Troy found his compressor to be functioning normally pressures on the gauges for a benchmark on the system for next visit if he should call us again.
A customer was getting estimates for her 5 ton unit to be replaced
Found system low or refrigerant .liquid line connection leaking also Schrader valve leaking sealed leaks added 2lbs of refrigerant system cooling
- Replacement of the indoor evaporator coil - Replacement of the filter dryer - Recharge the unit with refrigerant
Today we visited to evaluate the air conditioning system. Mike said the unit is cooling, but not enough to keep the temperature down to what he wants. He is selling the home and between 2pm - 6pm when most people want to see the house it’s 82°+ inside. We learned the unit is not working properly because it is low on refrigerant. The inside unit has a leak in the evaporator coil. Since Mike is selling the home he didn’t want to spend $8K+ to replace the unit and opted to have the evaporator coil replaced. We will be returning to replace the indoor coil.
Today we visited to perform maintenance on the system. We found the unit working, but in a neglected state. James performed a complete disassembly and cleaning on the outside unit and maintenance on the unit inside. The immediate issue to remedy is to clean the indoor blower assembly. If the goal is to prolong this machine’s life as long as possible it should have a compressor saver and surge protection.
Backed up drain line was causing second-floor unit to cut off clear drain line for 3 gallons of water through it
Today we visited to determine why the outside system was not working. We learned the dual capacitor had failed, and the air filters were dirty. It is possible the dirty air filters caused the unit to ice up, which can break the capacitor. The capacitor was replaced, and now the machine is operating well.
Upon arrival found safety switch container have water in it That will be the solution for the unit starting and shutting off Due to slow drainage Will flush drain line and treat it
Upon arrival found unit not cooling On the condenser module board, it give the code 06 ( open start circuit) Checked the capacitor and found compressor side reading below manufacture ratings Recommended replacement of capacitor
Today the immediate issue is a failed dual capacitor. More often than not when the capacitor fails on the “fan side” the fan motor is quick to follow. A proper repair will be to replace the eight year old fan motor with the dual capacitor.
