This company is excellent for the service and promptness and the technician they had come to our home was wonderful. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend to all of our family and friends. Thx Ideal Air
Found system with residual refrigerant Has major leak somewhere Possible compressor valve damage Had other company out - told them they needed a new coil Has aluminum line set Explained we need to verify where leak is Customer will discuss with husband when he gets home *spoke to daughter in law on phone
System is completely empty on refrigerant R22. Saw clear indication of leak inside condenser unit. Did not perform leak check at time of visit so could not pinpoint leak. Informed homeowner of leak showed her inside of condenser where refrigerant leaked out. Advised homeowner that best solution at the moment will be to replace unit due to age and condition. Informed homeowners that repairs will be costly and also possible that parts won’t be available. Homeowner will wait for husband to get home from work so they can decide on what they will like to do moving forward.
The unit was producing a poor split. The compressor is noisy and sending harmonic noises through the house through the line set. While checking the unit, the compressor went out. Recommend replacing the system.
The initial issue was another company, condemned the defrost board. I checked over the system and found the board operating properly. The contactor was burnt and had a poor connection, creating excessive heat and losing conductivity in the hotter part of the day. I found the compressor leads melted from the issue. I cut back the leads and added a sure switch. The unit is operating properly.
The compressor was not operating. The dual capacitor tested bad, and the condensing switch was burnt. I replaced the switch and capacitor and recommended an inrush kit to help prevent further issues. The unit is operating properly.
I performed cooling preventative maintenance in the system. The disconnect was melted together and the contactor was burnt from high starting amps. The indoor TXV was never adjusted to the proper super and sub. The system displayed a low charge. I replaced the disconnect and contactor. I added a start assist and adjusted the indoor TXV to factory specifications. I charge the unit with 2.2 poundsThe unit is operating properly
