Customer has a large offset or collapsed sewer line that needs to be repaired Dug down to sewer main where clog was occurring, issue was right where the connection for the 4” cast iron and 4” orangeburg pip was. The orange burg pipe was collapsing and had a large root intrusion that was causing the clog. Removed section and install two clean outs. Performed camera inspection and noticed customer had orange burg that was in rough shape that continued all the way to city sewer. Customer also had another large root intrusion approximately 6’ downstream from where we performed the spot repair. Highly recommend performing another spot repair in this location. Also recommend performing epoxy lining and pipe bursting to replace orange burg pipe which will be a more permanent solution as opposed to performing spot repairs. Will be approximately 60’ of orangeburg to be replaced.
