Serviced a 2024 Bryant AC unit (16-25-1 series). Cleaned the outdoor condenser coil to improve heat transfer. Added a missing tab. Verified capacitor readings at 40/5 MFD (rated 40/5 MFD). Updated system information sticker. Confirmed all electrical connections were secure for safe operation.
Serviced a 2014 Goodman air conditioning unit. Verified the capacitor was operating at its rated 45/5 MFD. The outdoor condenser coil was cleaned to enhance heat transfer efficiency. The existing filter was replaced with a new 20x25x1 filter to improve airflow and air quality. A missing tab was added to secure a component. The system information sticker was updated.
The customer scheduled a furnace tune-up to ensure their system was ready for the colder months. During the inspection, I discovered that the burner assembly had some minor debris buildup, and the pilot light was flickering, which could cause inefficient heating. I cleaned the burner components, adjusted the pilot light, checked the thermostat calibration, and ensured the furnace's airflow was unobstructed. After completing the tune-up, the furnace was running smoothly, providing efficient heating and helping the customer avoid potential breakdowns during the winter season.
The customer scheduled an AC maintenance visit to ensure their system was ready for the warmer months. During the inspection, I found the air filter was heavily clogged with dust and debris, which was restricting airflow and putting strain on the unit. I carefully removed and cleaned the reusable filter, checked the system for any additional issues, and verified that all components were operating correctly. After cleaning the filter and testing the system, airflow was restored, and the unit is now running efficiently and effectively.

Completed annual maintenance on an American Standard electric heater and identified a worn-out blower belt causing noise and reduced airflow. Replaced the belt with a new one, lubricated the motor bearings, and cleaned the blower assembly. Inspected the heating elements, checked the thermostat for accurate operation, and tested the safety controls. After the maintenance and repair, the system was running quietly and efficiently, ensuring reliable heat for the home.
Diagnosed a Trane gas furnace that wasn’t igniting. Discovered a dirty flame sensor causing the failure. Cleaned the flame sensor and inspected the burners for proper combustion. Also checked the inducer motor and limit switches to ensure no additional faults. After completing the repair, tested the furnace through several cycles to confirm consistent ignition and heating performance.

Replaced the Bryant 90% 2-stage 66,000 BTU furnace (model 16-25-1). All electrical connections were verified and secured, and the gas lines were confirmed to be in good condition. I checked for carbon monoxide in the flue, which read 20/10, and ensured the trap was clean. The system was set to 68°F using a Nest thermostat. I also added a service tab and updated the sticker. The outside temperature was 55°F and sunny during the inspection.
In Hilliard, OH, I installed a Bryant humidifier, tested it for proper operation, and demonstrated its use and maintenance to the homeowner. I also flushed a tankless water heater, ensuring efficient performance. During testing, the kitchen sink was found to not be working. Upon inspection, I determined that an inline water system may be causing a blockage and recommended further investigation to resolve the issue.
