Customer concerned about unit not heating properly. Checked low voltage wiring connections and inspected equipment cabinet. Checked outside condenser unit and condenser is straight cooling only. The thermostat has been set up as heat pump and not turning on the electrical heat strip. I have located the program in the thermostat is not set correctly for straight cooling unit. Setup thermostat and checked unit operation. Unit is running properly and heating properly. Strongly recommend customer to renewal on taps preventative inspections to have annual preventative maintenance inspections every 6 months and priority customer services. Recommend new safety surge protector on air handler unit to prevent voltage spikes and electrical failure on control board and blower motor. Customer has declined taps Membership at this time.
