The system is R22. Proceeded to diagnose and the equipment is extremely low on refrigerant. Called home warranty and spoke with Kyle. Informed him that we do not use R22 anymore and to charge the system would be very expensive. The equipment is old and would recommend replacement of the equipment. Efficiency ratings are non-existent. The disconnect has been removed and high voltage wires are “HOT WIRED” together. Technicians would not be able to turn the system off to service.
