this was the culmination of a long process. replacement of the utility poles: replacement of lead from pole to house; upgrading to bundle package for TV, phone, and internet. as of right now, all things appear to be working well. thank you
Mike arrived, quickly assessed and resolved the issue with our Tivo box. During the "hurry up and wait" download process we were talking about the slow speed of the internet service. I shared that I don't get a signal in my home office (located over my garage) and had recently ordered 4 Google range extenders. He said, "let me see if I can help". After looking at the wiring setup in the basement, he explained that the high amount of splitters might be slowing down the speed. He also installed a dual ban new router. He walked me through the setup of the new router, including PW setup, ensured that I knew how to use it and that all of my devises connected. He came into our home and not only resolved the original service call issue, he cleaned up the wiring, speeded up our internet service and might have extended the range to the point that I will have a signal in my home office. if so, he saved me $320 as I won't be needing the Google range extenders.
