Upon arrival I found the customer had a bad thermostat, defrost board and defrost sensor. After further inspecting the system. I found that the low-voltage wiring for the two stage system was not wired correctly. The customer said they had someone replaced the floors in their house and they took the indoor air handler out the closet and then reinstalled it. Whoever reinstalled it. I’m assuming did not wire it right she also said they had issues right afterwards. I sent an estimate to replace the board and defrost sensor along with the thermostat. They were all approved after installing the thermostat defrost board and defrost sensor. I tested the system operations and the system is now operating properly and both heating and cooling mode. I did have to rewire the low-voltage at the air handler where all the thermostat wires combined together due to whoever installed it was wired wrong. Everything is working properly at this time .
