Upon my arrival I evaluated 1 carrier heat pump system. I verified system safety and performance is to manufacture specifications. Flushed and treated the water removal system. Cleaned the electrical cabinet and washed unit using water. Found the voltage distribution system to be getting charred and pitted. Informed customer of my findings. Customer wasn’t interested in options for repair at the moment. Also found the defrost control board to be faulty and noticed a few loose connections not letting the system go into defrost. Informed customer of my findings and they declined repair at this time. Will still send over options for repair for future reference. System heating at this time.
