I spoke with Seth regarding his HVAC system. He reported that at night, when the A/C turns off, the indoor fan continues to run for an extended period of time. Upon inspection, I verified that the indoor voltage enhancement system is functioning correctly. I also checked the thermostat batteries and confirmed they are in good condition. I opened the electrical panel and inspected the relay for any signs of damaged, cut, or burned wires—none were found. To test system operation, I set the thermostat to “Cool” and lowered the temperature to initiate a cooling cycle. I then raised the temperature to end the cycle and verified that both the indoor and outdoor units shut off as expected. I repeated this test twice with no issues observed. At this time, the HVAC system is operating properly. Seth also declined at this time the maintenance plan.
