upon my arrival in Giddings I found that The water removal system was backed up tripping the float switch causing the thermostat to go blank. Customers son had wired in a Honeywell thermostat thinking there was an issue in the thermostat. I spoke with the customer about installing the original carrier edge thermostat back on the system to allow for the dehumidification and they chose to move forward with it and signed up on our maintenance. I blew the drain line out and put some drain pan treatment down the drain line and installed the original thermostat back to the system. Tested the system and found everything operating properly at this time. This is a heat pump attic system.
