Today Travis and I completed the previously sold repair work. We began by recovering remaining refrigerant. Removing and reinstalling new refrigerant pumping system, installed acid scavenger, installed new copper refrigerant lines with new insulation, reflared the indoor and outdoor connections and torqued to spec, pressure tested with dry nitrogen to a total of 580psi. After verifying system tight and leak free, we then began evacuation purging nitrogen 3 times, we followed manufacturers guidelines and verified system was tight and dry with a held decay rate of 700 microns. We then charged unit using R410a a total of 7.5lbs. Afterwards we tested and verified amperage of new motor and refrigerant cooling pressures. Upon departure we left system in cooling mode set for 75.
