Had Edison in for Air Conditioner maintenance. Found the outdoor unit had mice living inside and had chewed through a wire. Yasser gave great information and gave accurate information for each cost of each repair, which included installation of a new capacitor. I'm happy with the results, and also confident that the annual maintenance contract that we signed up for will provide longer term confidence. Yasser was great!

Routine AC maintenance for split and ductless systems
Executed AC maintenance on Goodman GSX16 split system. Inspected evaporator for biological growth, treated with EPA-registered disinfectant. Measured superheat (12°F) and subcooling (10°F), both within spec. Tested capacitor: 44.5 μF, within 6% tolerance. Cleaned condenser coil with low-pressure nitrogen flush. Lubricated condenser fan motor bearings with SAE 20 oil. Confirmed 400 CFM/ton airflow across indoor coil.
Completed AC maintenance service. Inspected and cleaned condenser and evaporator coils, verified refrigerant levels, and tested thermostat accuracy. Tightened electrical connections, lubricated fan motors, and cleared the condensate drain. Ensured optimal airflow by replacing the air filter. The system is now running efficiently, ready to provide reliable cooling throughout the season.
Diagnosed and repaired Carrier 24ABC6 air conditioning unit. Identified failed run capacitor using Fluke 87V multimeter. Replaced with TITAN PRO TOCF45 45/5 MFD dual capacitor. Discovered low refrigerant charge; leak-tested system with Fieldpiece DR82 refrigerant detector, locating pinhole leak in evaporator coil. Brazed leak using Worthington oxy-acetylene torch and Sil-Fos 15 alloy. Evacuated system to 500 microns with Navac NRP8Di vacuum pump. Recharged with R-410A using Testo 557s digital manifold. Cleaned condenser coils with Nu-Calgon 4291-08 Evap Foam. Verified proper operation, achieving 18°F delta T across evaporator. System now functioning optimally, restoring efficient cooling.

Performed maintenance on a Carrier Performance Series heat pump in Clark, NJ. Discovered water leakage from a clogged condensate drain line. Cleared the obstruction, allowing proper drainage. Inspected and cleaned coils for optimal operation. Secured connections and tested the system to ensure no further leaks, resolving the issue efficiently.
