Edison’s technician communicated his imminent arrival and arrived within the specified window of time. He was polite and respectful of the property as indicated by his donning protective booties over his shoes. I am not an expert in the HVAC field, so I can’t comment specifically on the quality of annual maintenance/equipment testing that was done (or indeed if such things as wiping down the condenser, were actually done at all!) I did not see him performing the tests that appear on his written report and trust that if he reports that the system is running smoothly and I have had no problems, then all is good!

Routine furnace maintenance for two systems
I repaired a Daikin DX20VC air conditioner yesterday. The issue was a failed inverter board causing compressor malfunction. I replaced the inverter board, updated the firmware, and recalibrated the system. After cleaning the coils and checking refrigerant levels, the variable-speed compressor now modulates correctly, providing efficient cooling.
This morning, I installed an Aprilaire Model 2410 whole-home air purifier. I integrated it into the HVAC system's return duct, ensuring proper airflow. The MERV 11 filter effectively removes dust, pollen, and other airborne particles. I also installed the Aprilaire Model 8476W thermostat for automated control and filter life monitoring.
Conducted maintenance on Mitsubishi MSZ-FH12NA and Fujitsu ASYG09LZAC mini-split systems in Westfield, NJ. Cleaned indoor coils with Nu-Calgon Evap Foam No Rinse cleaner, enhancing heat transfer. Flushed condensate lines using Rectorseal Viper condensate pan tablets to prevent algae growth. Inspected and tightened electrical connections on both outdoor condensing units. Replaced clogged air filters with washable Mitsubishi MAC-2370FT-E and Fujitsu UTR-FA16 filters. Checked refrigerant pressures using Yellow Jacket 42006 digital manifold gauge, ensuring optimal charge. Both systems now operating at peak efficiency, providing zoned comfort and energy savings.
Completed maintenance on two AC units. Inspected and cleaned condenser and evaporator coils, checked refrigerant levels, and tightened electrical connections. Replaced air filters, lubricated moving parts, and ensured proper thermostat operation. Verified system airflow and cleared condensate drains. Both units are now optimized for efficient cooling and reliable performance throughout the season.
