Service diagnostic found the outdoor capacitor has failed on the herm side. Repair options were presented to the homeowner and he agreed to have the outdoor capacitor replaced. I replaced the capacitor and function test the system. It was time for their A/C tune up as well so I then performed the A/C check up. Checked the electrical, mechanical and performance systems of the unit. Cleared, cleaned, flushed and treated the drain line and washed the outdoor coil. The air purifier and surge protection device are working. The system is operational at this time.
