Performed a/c tune-up on a Carrier straight a/c system. Checked the electrical, mechanical and performance systems of the unit. Cleared, cleaned, flushed and treated the drain line and replaced the return air filters. Secured outdoor compressor wiring and washed the outdoor coil. I did find the outdoor fan motor leaking oil. Presented repair options and the homeowner chose to have the fan motor replaced at this time. I replaced the outdoor fan motor and cycled power at the thermostat. The homeowner also asked me to close down the damper for the master bedroom bathroom since it was getting too much airflow. I also set a schedule on the thermostat per homeowner request. No other major issues were found. The system is operational at this time.
