Sam J - arrived to Blue club member for spring tuneup on a horizontally, mounted furnace in the attic. Customer does not have any complaints, system is one year old. I left replacement filters as he just changed his and he also turned the thermostat on for me. Began by turning off and rinsing the condenser coil outside and attaching my pressure gauges and temperature, probes for recording superheat and sub cooling values which I have recorded in the report. Checked the capacitor, then re-powered the condensing unit. Moved into the attic while allowing the condenser to dry and checked, the blower amperage the coil, cleanliness and the duct connections. Drain line was clear and float switch was operating properly. Move back to the condensing unit and recorded the amperages on start up and during run time for the compressor and fan motor. Assembled the machine and clean the area. Spoke with homeowner and advised him on the status of the system, no issues to report. System
