I arrived for a blue club membership no heat call. I inspected the stand found the blower motor to have failed and the manual high limit to not reset once depressed. This was causing the furnace to run the induced draft motor but not light. I made this aware to the homeowner and explained that the motor will need to be replaced with a new capacitor and a new motor bracket. I also explained that the high limit will have to be replaced due to it not re setting once depressed. I recommended to replace the system or at least the furnace due to the cost of repair and the const of the new furnace. I explained that once I replaced the parts there could be other issues with the system once we can get it up and running. The homeowner decided to replace the motor and high limit. Once I got the old parts out I removed any large debris from the blower wheel and secondary heat exchanger.
