17NOV2023 Jason Brown Arrived for fall tune up inspection for current customers rental. Spoke with homeowner about their systems performance. It’s working, the home inspector didn’t say anything about it either, but I’ve not gotten up there to look. Setup ladder in laundry room access. Found system installed with no walkway or platform, return plenum falling off, and ductwork undersized. Blower motor is blocked by supporting brace preventing access to heat Exchanger. Cycle equipment into heat adjust gas pressure to 3.5 iwc. Checked HSI, inducer, blower wheel, amps, and electrical connections/ components. 0ppm CO detected during operation and home is equipped with monoxide detectors. Attached are photos and estimates for recommendations, however with the location and quality of the current install I would be hesitant to make repairs without adding walkway/ platform and relocating equipment to a more accessible location. .
