07JUN2023 Jason Brown Arrived for new customer not cooling well. Spoke with Theyva and homeowner about the systems performance. We had our electrical bill spike recently then the AC stopped cooling the way it used it. We would also like to have a nest thermostat installed. Adjusted thermostat to off and equipment is still running. Inspected air handler found heat strips engaging, with homeowner permission I replaced the sequencer then replaced thermostat. Cycled system into cooling. Checked pressures and amps. Inspected filter found washable filter nearly 100% blocked. Installed 2 12x24 filters in place of the single 25x25x1. Checked delta found a 13 degree delta T. Spoke with homeowner about the plenum being too short and the lack of ventilation in the attic. System is cooling to the best of its abilities. 1 yr parts 1 yr labor.
