Performed annual maintenance on the Biasi oil boiler. Replaced the nozzle, filter, and strainer, and brushed and vacuumed the heat exchanger and flue pipe. Tested and confirmed the operation of all system safeties and burner components, and performed a combustion test, smoke test, and draft test. The system is operating properly at this time. During testing, I found that the relief valve did not reseal after being tested. With approval, I replaced the leaking relief valve, purged air from the system, and confirmed proper operation.
