For this job, the existing drainage piping was cut out and removed due to its poor condition and improper configuration. The drainage system was then reworked and rebuilt using new PVC piping to ensure proper flow, long-term durability, and compliance with current plumbing standards, and a new Studor vent was installed to provide proper venting and prevent siphoning issues. In addition, the master bathroom vanity drain was snaked to clear a blockage that was causing slow drainage. All connections were securely made and tested upon completion, and the drainage system is now operating properly with improved performance and no leaks or blockages.
I was hired to install two ducted heat pump systems in a residential home. The systems were installed in the attic and connected to the ductwork. I worked with the homeowner to choose the appropriate size and type of system for their home and to ensure that it was installed correctly and efficiently. I also provided training on how to use and maintain the system.
I am a highly skilled home service professional. I recently completed an annual maintenance service on a Spirit oil furnace. During the inspection, I found multiple cracks in the combustion head and ceramic heat shield. I replaced the damaged F3 combustion end cone and ceramic heat shield with new parts. I also performed a combustion analysis, smoke test, and draft test to ensure the system was operating properly. I am pleased to report that the system is now operating properly.
I am an experienced home service technician, and I recently completed a job to inspect a sewer smell coming from the upstairs area of a customer's home. The customer noticed the smell behind the shower and near the attic. I discussed the option of performing a smoke test to help locate the source of the odor, but the customer preferred to monitor the situation for now and track when the smell occurs. She mentioned that the odor was first noticed during a period of heavy rain. The customer will continue to observe the issue and keep us updated with any changes.
Reconnected the Rinnai direct-vent heater with a new flex line and disconnected the gas line to the generator. Performed a leak check at 8.5 in/wc for 3 minutes with no leaks found. Checked carbon monoxide levels and confirmed there were no issues. Verified the operation of all gas appliances; everything is functioning properly at this time.
Replaced the gauge and vent combination on the exterior oil tank to improve accuracy and ease of reading. Upon inspection, it appears the copper supply and return lines entering the tank have become slightly bent upward over time due to normal usage. This may prevent the system from utilizing the full capacity of the tank, as the pickup line may not reach the lowest level of oil. The system is currently operating as a two-pipe supply and return configuration using compression fittings. We recommend scheduling an estimate in the spring to replace the existing oil lines from the tank to the furnace to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The vent whistle was tested and is functioning properly at this time. Recommendations: • During the winter season, do not allow the oil level to drop below 1/4 tank to avoid fuel supply issues related to line elevation.
Service Summary: Arrived on site due to a report of no water. The technician spoke with the property owner by phone and proceeded with a well system diagnostic to determine the cause. During testing, continuity checks were performed from the control box to the well pump wiring. Results showed no continuity on the red wire, indicating a likely break in that line between the control box and the well pump. We proceeded to the well location to further test and pinpoint the break. Upon removing the well cover, it was determined that the wiring was not easily accessible and that we were not properly equipped to continue diagnostics at that time. The property owner was contacted, and we recommended Wragg Brothers for further evaluation and repair, as they are better equipped for this type of work. While in the basement, we also observed that a new water heater had been recently installed; however, a mixing valve was not present. Per state requirements under the International Plumbing Code (
