Replaced the existing toilet fill valve due to intermittent operation and slow filling, as the valve would stop working randomly and then resume functioning inconsistently. After installing the new fill valve, the toilet was adjusted for proper water level and flow. The system was fully tested, and the toilet filled correctly and consistently, with all operations working as they should and no issues observed.
Upon arrival, the homeowner reported water discharging from beneath the dishwasher. Upon inspection, it was determined that the dishwasher supply line had frozen and split, causing the leak. A new dishwasher supply line was installed, along with a 90-degree fitting at the dishwasher connection, to restore proper water flow. While on site, we also inspected the basement and found a section of domestic water piping that was heavily corroded, including four gate valves that required replacement. The deteriorated piping was removed and replaced with new piping and fittings. We installed one new 3/4” ball valve and three new 1/2” ball valves to allow proper isolation of fixtures in the event of an emergency. All completed work was thoroughly tested to ensure proper operation. At the time of testing, there were no leaks observed from any of the newly installed components.
