Arrived on site to replace seized circulator pump. After our initial inspection, we were able to get hot water moving through the zone by purging the air out using the fill valve. After air was removed the zone we tested the old pump. It was still seized which told us the pump needed to be replaced. We tested the amperage as well to confirm and we were getting around 2amps. The pump is only rated for .7amps max. We removed old pump and put the new one on. Water is now circulating as it should. When we were testing the modine heater in the garage we found that the aquastat had failed and was not telling the fan to turn on. Lucas will be bringing an aquastat with him when he returns in the morning.
