Upon arrival customer had a leaking shutoff at their 1st floor lav, a shower with no hot water, and a garbage disposal they wanted installed. Customer wanted to wait to do garbage disposal. I disassembled Moen Posi-temp shower valve and found a corroded section of pipe on cold water inlet. I informed the customer and gave options for a valve replacement but they chose to move forward with just replacing the cartridge. I installed new cartridge and restored full function of the shower. I then removed the old leaking shutoff by unsoldering it. I cleaned the pipe and soldered on a new chrome sleeve soldered angle stop shutoff. I turned the water back on and tested everything. Everything is working well with no leaks present at time of service. Upstairs tub was found to have dysfunctional trip lever. Customer will follow up with a repair for this and the shower valve at another date.
