Diagnosed Bryant 925SA furnace with intermittent operation. Found corroded flame sensor causing improper flame rectification (0.5 microamps measured). Replaced sensor and verified proper signal at 3.2 microamps. Also discovered partially blocked condensate trap causing pressure switch to open during operation. Cleaned trap, verified proper condensate drainage, and measured draft inducer vacuum at -1.2 inches WC. Advised homeowner on importance of annual maintenance and proper humidifier settings during spring transition.

Investigated a heat pump that wasn’t providing enough heat. Discovered a clogged air filter restricting airflow and causing the system to overheat. Replaced the filter and cleaned the evaporator coil. Checked the refrigerant levels and ensured proper defrost cycle operation. The heat pump is now running efficiently with consistent heating output.

Completed annual maintenance on a 2000 Bryant air conditioner. During testing of the unit, the technician found no electrical protection device, the voltage distribution system to show signs of age and pitting/ the voltage of enhancement system to be outside of manufactures specifications, the amp draw to the compressor is outside of manufactures specifications (performance kit previously installed tested depleted), and the air filter to have not been replaced in quite some time. Customer stated they would replace air filters themselves, and due to age of unit and type of refrigerant no longer being available no concerns will be addressed today. Technician spoke to customer about trimming back some plants from unit to prevent any air flow issues. No issues at time of departure.
